YAF Workshop: Crafting a Career Worthy of God’s Calling

Do you desire to know your calling? Do you struggle with knowing who you are and what you can do with your life? What does a meaningful career look like, and how does your Christian walk relate to it?

If you’re asking yourself questions like these, join our Young Adults Fellowship (YAF) for a 5-week workshop led by Gray Poehnell from Sept 4 to Oct 2 on Thursdays at 7pm. No registration is required. Just show up!

Gray has over 35 years of experience as a life/career coach, facilitator, trainer, and author. Drawing from his experience as a professor of New Testament and Greek and a pastor, Gray integrates a biblical view of calling with practical life/career approaches to help people craft a story worthy of their calling. Daily Bible Reading Guide

The guide for Jul-Sep 2025 is available now. You can download it from icrc.ca or get a hard copy at the center table in the lobby.

Daily Bible Reading Guide

The ancient Christian practice of beginning and ending each day with Bible reading and prayer is known as the “Daily Office” – as in the “daily service” or “daily duty” of Christians.

It finds its roots in ancient Israel. God’s people were commanded to talk about God’s word “when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise” (Deut. 6:7). Our mornings and evenings (and the day in between!) are important to God.
Download the Daily Bible Reading Guide below and read through the whole Bible in just 2 years.

Submit a Prayer Request

There is Power in Prayer

Send us a prayer request for yourself, for a loved one or for someone in need. By submitting here, your prayer request will be shared with all those who gather and pray for the church and for the world.

If you would rather speak one-on-one with a Pastor, please use the space to note that instead of leaving a Prayer Request and we’ll get a Pastor to connect with you.

Would you like a Pastor to reach out?
